Vision
Within the Utrechtse Historische Studentenkring, we aim to create a safe and cosy atmosphere. Every member should feel at home in the association, which is something that we all actively work on. Despite the unique characteristics of one’s identity, we all treat each other with respect. The code of conduct is a great example of the rules that we have set up together to combat inappropriate behaviour and to encourage a safe environment.
Besides the social norms and values that we uphold, we as an association also try to lead by example in the areas of sustainability, internationalisation, education and student wellbeing. We set up a sustainability document and an international document, we organise educational events in line with the History degree, and two confidential advisers have been appointed. One of the advisers also has specific knowledge of the problems that international students face and how to solve them.
By joining forces, we can build an even better association.
