Every year, an orientation programme is arranged for future History students. This is divided into two sections: the orientation camp and the faculty days. During the orientation camp, you will get to know your fellow tutorial students better by participating in many activities and parties organised by the Orientation Committee (or OC). The Orientation Committee is appointed every year by the Department of History and Art History. The Orientation Committee for 2016-17 consists of the following people:
Floris de Hart - chair
Eef Brands - secretary
Esther Martens - treasurer
Emma Broekman - Camp Commissioner
Bart Blokland - Faculty Days Commissioner
Via the Utrecht History Study Society (UHSK), all five of us are actively involved in the History degree programme. Thanks to our involvement with the UHSK, we are experienced in organising major events such as orientation weeks. We also have a wealth of ideas on the best ways to spend your free time. If you have any questions about the History degree programme, the study society UHSK, recreational opportunities in Utrecht or any other matters, then we'll be happy to help!
